Forex CRM architecture for an MT5 brokerage.
A Forex CRM is the system of record for clients, accounts, documents and money movements. Design it by data and workflow first, then choose software.

Data model
Entities include lead, client, document, trading account, transaction, ticket and partner. Define identifiers shared with MT5 (login, group) and how records are matched, so reconciliation does not depend on names.
Workflows
Model onboarding, KYC review, account creation, funding approval, withdrawal approval and support tickets as state machines with owners and timeouts. Exceptions should have explicit paths.

Interfaces
The CRM exchanges data with the platform, payment providers, the website and reporting. Define each interface and its failure handling, starting with the Manager API link.
Permissions and audit trail
Define roles and permissions so staff see only what they need. Log sensitive actions such as document approval, balance operations and account changes. Review the audit trail regularly and during onboarding of new staff.
State machine example
KYC states: submitted, in review, more information needed, approved, rejected. Each state has an owner, a timeout and allowed transitions. Document it and test every path. A clear state model is the backbone of reliable onboarding.
Questions we hear
Where should the source of truth live?
Client profile data usually lives in the CRM; trading state in the platform. Document the rule.
How is data migrated?
With field mapping, test imports, reconciliation and a rollback plan.
