Forex PSP as a dependency to manage.
A payment provider is an external dependency with commercial and technical risk. Compare on terms, plan redundancy and keep the CRM provider-agnostic where possible.

Selection criteria
Acceptance of forex flow, fees, reserves, limits, settlement time, supported currencies, chargeback rules and onboarding requirements. Score each provider in one matrix.
Redundancy
Plan at least one fallback route and define the switching procedure, including client messaging. Test it periodically rather than assuming it works.

Abstraction layer
If your CRM supports several providers through a common interface, adding or replacing one becomes configuration, not a rebuild. See the integration design.
Monitoring provider health
Track approval rates, latency, error codes and settlement delays per provider. Alert on changes and review monthly. Early signals of provider trouble give you time to shift traffic to a fallback.
Scoring matrix example
Criteria: forex acceptance, fees, reserves, limits, settlement, regions, support, technical quality. Weight each, score providers and record sources. Revisit annually or after incidents.
Questions we hear
Can gray label brokers obtain a PSP?
Often, though some providers ask for specific entity or licence details.
Who owns the provider contract?
You do. Integration support is separate.
