Trading robot and algo trading plugins: policy, load and staging.
Automation changes your load profile and your risk surface. Define policy, stage every plugin and monitor the effect on the server.

Policy as configuration
Write permitted and restricted behaviours, then map each to an enforceable control: account group settings, plugin rules or monitoring alerts. Unenforceable policy creates disputes.
Staging
Install and test every plugin on a staging server that mirrors production. Record versions, configuration and test results, and keep a rollback package.

Load and ownership
Track request rates and latency by account group. Name an owner for each plugin and agree update procedures. Capacity planning belongs with hosting design.
Incident handling for automation
Define how you respond to runaway automation, abnormal order rates or plugin faults. Specify who can suspend accounts or plugins, how clients are informed and how events are recorded.
Staging checklist
Same platform build, same plugins, representative data, load generator and rollback package. Run functional and load tests, record results and require sign-off before production deployment.
