Web trading platform: browser client architecture.
A web terminal is a client of your trading backend. Its quality depends on connectivity, session handling and how it connects to the rest of your stack.

Connectivity and sessions
Identify the endpoint it uses, the encryption in transit, session timeout behaviour and password reset flow. Record who is responsible for each.
Branding and limits
List which elements are brandable (logo, colours, domain) and which features depend on platform configuration, such as depth of market. Do not assume parity with the desktop terminal.

Test coverage
Run browsers and devices matrix tests, order lifecycle tests and CRM link tests. Keep results as acceptance evidence.
Performance and monitoring
Measure page load, connection stability and order round-trip time from representative locations. Set alert thresholds and review trends monthly. Treat degradations as incidents with owners, not as background noise.
Security checklist
Transport encryption, session expiry, password policy, second-factor options, rate limiting and logging of sign-ins. Verify each in the test environment and record results. Include the web client in periodic security reviews.
Questions we hear
Does the web client expose all desktop functions?
Not necessarily. Verify the feature list.
Can it be embedded in my portal?
Often, depending on configuration. Confirm technical requirements.
